Below are ways to start taking advantage of your MCCA membership. If you have specific questions about your membership, please contact MCCA Member Engagement at admin@mccatoday.org.

UPDATE YOUR MEMBER PROFILE

Your MCCA online member profile allows you to customize your member experience to ensure you're getting the information you need most in the most effective way. Through your online member profile you can update your contact information, view past and upcoming event registrations, print an invoice. Upon joining MCCA you should receive an email with your login and temporary password. If you haven't received that email, contact admin@mccatoday.org.

Online Member Profile Information
  • Once you have logged in and navigated to your member profile, click the My Profile tab item to edit and update attributes. ​
  • Beneath the My Profile tab, you can manage personal settings and preferences, as well as view Message History, Invoices, and Form Submissions.
  • The Connections tab lets you stay up to speed with all your social endeavors. Advanced Search link to the Member Directory.
  • Underneath My Features, along with Photos, you can access Circles, Committees, and E-lists you are subscribed to.
  • The Inbox tab keeps track of messages received and sent to and from other Connections. Make connections with other members by finding their profiles in the Member Directory and clicking the Add Connection.

ATTEND AN EVENT

Attending a MCCA event is a great way to connect with colleagues, exchange ideas, and stay up-to-date on the latest issues and challenges facing higher education in Missouri. The MCCA Annual Convention, held every November, brings together nearly 1,000 community college and workforce development attendees along with thought leaders and fantastic entertainment. It has been the premier networking event for over 50 years.

Additionally, our educational programs build a culture of continuous professional development. We train young professionals to be tomorrow’s industry leaders and help seasoned executives sharpen their leadership skills. Offered in-person and online, trainings are tailored to professionals just starting their career or moving into a new discipline. ​If you are interested in sharing your industry knowledge by leading a workshop, contact MCCA Professional Development at admin@mccatoday.org.

MAKE AN IMPACT

MCCA helps our members reach beyond your office or classroom by advocating for on both a state and national level. We give you the tools and opportunties to make your voice matter to you and your peers.

We want our association to address the needs of our members. As such, MCCA reaches out regularly with our annual perception and brand survey to learn about how we’re doing. We hope you will participate in our next one. Of course, you don’t need to wait until then to provide input. Feedback from our members is always welcome!
