Missouri Community College Association Successfully Concludes 2023 Trustee & Executive Leadership Conference

( Jefferson City, Mo., July 18, 2023) - The Missouri Community College Association (MCCA) concluded its Trustee & Executive Leadership Conference for 2023 last month. Held at Camden on the Lake Resort in Lake Ozark, MO., the conference brought together prominent leaders, trustees and executives from community colleges across the state for a three-day event to promote collaboration, share best practices and enhance leadership skills within the community college sector.

"We are thrilled with the success of the 2023 Trustee & Executive Leadership Conference," said MCCA Director of Professional Development and Member Engagement Cliff Judy. "The event provided a dynamic platform for community college leaders to come together, exchange ideas and learn from one another. We are confident that the insights gained and relationships forged during this conference will enable our institutions to navigate the future successfully."

The conference showcased diverse sessions covering topics including guided pathways and strategic planning. Additionally, workshops and networking opportunities were offered to address the pressing challenges community colleges face today. During the event, participants engaged in thought-provoking discussions, gained insights from industry experts and heard about their peers' success stories.

As the conference concluded, MCCA President and CEO Brian Millner was reminded of the organization's commitment to fostering collaboration, advocating for community colleges and promoting excellence in higher education across the state.
